Attestation Rewards

Attestation rewards are incentives given to attesting validators. These validators perform actions that are required to create, sign, and broadcast attestations during each epoch. Attestors serve the purpose of voting for the overall validator's view of the blockchain, specifically the most recent justified block and the first block in the current epoch.

Attestation rewards form the largest portion of consensus layer rewards. Despite the randomization of committee and slot assignments for attesting, every active validator will be selected to make precisely one attestation per epoch.
