Fees
Treehouse charges two types of fees:
Performance Fee
A 20% fee on the Market Effective Yield (MEY) earned.
Only applied when MEY is positive.
Collected in the base token of the pool prior to each P&L rebase event (e.g., tETH → charged in tETH, tAVAX → charged in tAVAX).
Fastlane Fee
A 2% fee for using the Fastlane service, paid in the underlying LST (e.g., wstETH for tETH).
The Fastlane provides instant liquidity as an alternative to the normal redemption queue.
Users redeeming via Pendle integrations (e.g., YT-tETH, LP-tETH holders) are automatically routed through the Fastlane and incur this fee.
Example: Redemption Wait Periods & Fastlane Fee Adjustments
tETH → Standard redemption wait period: 7 days, Fastlane Fee: 2%
tAVAX → Standard redemption wait period: 17 days, Fastlane Fee: 2%
Because of this extended lock-up, tAVAX carries a higher Fastlane Fee of 4% instead of 2%. This adjustment reflects the additional liquidity risk borne by the protocol in providing instant redemptions for tAVAX. This ensures protocol sustainability while giving users the option of instant liquidity.
