Proposer Rewards

Proposer rewards are incentives given to a single validator that is selected to propose the block in each slot, occurring roughly every twelve seconds. The block proposer broadcasts a signed beacon block building upon the most recent head of the chain which includes various data like “RANDAO reveal”, “eth1_data”, and “graffiti”, to form a “BeaconBlockBody.”

The selection for block proposal happens pseudo-randomly where the probability scales based on the validator’s effective balance at the beginning of each slot.
