Panelist Pool

During each observation period, rewards are allocated to Panelists whose predictions fall within the OR boundaries. This range, determined by the Operator in terms of standard deviations from the realized rate during the observation period, ensures that Panelists who accurately predict the rate are duly rewarded. Panelists whose predictions fall outside the OR boundaries will not receive any rewards for that observation period and may be subject to slashing according to the criteria outlined in the Slashing Mechanism section.

Specifically, the allocation of rewards per submission period is inversely proportional to the absolute difference between each Panelist's prediction and the realized rate. Panelists whose predictions closely match the realized rates receive a larger share of token emissions proportional to their accuracy.
